Quite simply network marketers have been conditioned to prospect a particular way. To take it a step further, many are being taught outdated old school methods yet their upline are using different tactics.

Simply that before you stand on the highest hill in your neighborhood and scream…”I have a business opportunity and I think you need to take a look at this now”…have you earned the respect and trust of your prospects yet.

By earning a prospect’s respect you need to show them that you are qualified to lead them to the promised land. Prospects are drawn to those who teach and educate, that’s a given. If you instead of the sales pitch, show them how to improve their current situation whatever niche it is in then it’s a lot more likely they’ll be back for more.
But if you say “Hey, get in on this now otherwise you’ll be sorry” all you’ll serve to do is raise their resistance levels and get them on the backfoot from the start.
